Sass was one of the two new “sheer” PA colors debuted in the 2011 Holiday Pretty Amazing Lip Collection kit. (The other was Oomph.) These two colors were more like traditional lip glosses, in that they were very sheer. You could only really see any color if you left it heavy on the lips. I will be closely watching all future Pretty Amazing colors (sold individually, or included in kits) - because these sheer ones are not going to work for me at all. I don't like the texture, I don't like the color payoff, I'll be sticking to the “full color” PA shades exclusively.
EDIT: Some of these “traditional” glosses appear to have a tiny bit more heft to them - Perky, included in the Putting on the Glitz kit, is a semisheer canyon-rose gloss. It does have a bit more color than Sass or Oomph, but less than the full-color PAs. Still…I could only get any color payoff from Perky if I left it layered on pretty heavily. Hopefully, these will all be differently labeled in the future, like the “Sheer” or “Full Color” Buxoms, so that folks who have a strong preference for one or the other can more easily identify which colors they want to buy, and which they prefer to pass by.
