If you’d been idly toying with buying your first Bare Escentuals kit, I’d recommend this one. Yes, it’s got one color that’s currently available for individual purchase in the various boutiques (Exotic Tara). And Nouveau is available in a few different kits this summer. The Buxom Lash mascara is available for individual purchase through Sephora, so that’s not a great big urgent item to grab. And maybe…you don’t feel like you can wear Exotic Tara? But - trust me - not only is Exotic Tara eminently wearable (yes it’s a blue, but it’s neither invisi-sheer nor heavily pigmented), and Nouveau is a great non-boring neutral, but Eva is one of my absolute favorite buxoms…and is currently NOT available for individual purchase through any venue.

When doing an idle search for this kit in 2012, I saw it listed on Amazon for...wait for it..$68. That's outrageous.
