Almost every year, BareMinerals releases one holiday kit that’s a collection of previously-released items - about half of which are or recently were in the regular lineup. Absolutely fantastic for new brand devotees, but not so great for the rest of us.

This year, The Big Top is that kit.

As I was looking at the item listing, I instantly recognized a few of the items: I owned Masquerade and Cream Soda and Well Rested, as well as Laughter blush. Oh, and both of the radiances. And at least half of the lip colors, too? Okay, so let's go check out these other shades...oh, wait, I remember those names. You mean Highwire isn't new to this kit?

So, yeah. Everything in this kit has been in other kits (holiday and not) over the past three years. And a few of them were in the regular lineup at least since 2008. The newest items are the Lasting Line eyeliners, and the two colors included in this kit are...well, fairly standard charcoal and brown. It is a good assortment; and since they're almost all minis, you get a sampling of just about every one of BareMinerals' product lines without a $100+ pricetag. But if you've been collecting BE for a while, doublecheck your own inventory and I think you'll find that you have all but two or four of these items already.
