Released as one of the “mega” kits for the 2010 winter holiday season, this 15 piece kit had mini products: “petite” eyeshadows (5 gram jars, which not all users love); small blushes (same jar size as a regular BE eyeshadow); halfsize lip glosses. It also didn’t feature any new products, but existing colors and re-releases. If you hadn’t bought much Bare Escentuals and wanted a jumpstart on the collection, this may be a good kit. If you and a friend or two want to split the kit each taking the items / colors you want and don’t have, it can work. But even for someone who’s only been buying BE for a few years…this was not a good value. (Though it was a welcome sight, because it’s a kit that I have no desire to purchase…and thus my money can stay in my bank account, or go toward the indie vendors.)
