I tend to be leery of the AD-series kits. I won’t like some of the whole kits, or I’ll vastly prefer to cherrypick this and that item rather than purchase an entire kit or series of kits. (If nothing else, I then have to figure out how to re-home all those pots of mineral veil and tubes of mascara. I don’t use the first; and I don’t use the second…fast enough.) I got the eye, cheek, and lip color items individually, from various Ebay sellers; and it was a better deal for me because I wasn’t paying for the mascara, mineral veil, or the packaging.

This first kit in the series was released in winter 2010, and contained:

• Crème de la Crème — silvered plum-taupe shimmer
• Magnifique — dark plum-brown matte
• Avant Garden blush — semisheer dusty pinked peach sheen
• Black Coffee Big & Bright eyeliner in brown-black
• Flawless Definition Volumizing Mascara in black
• Pretty Amazing lipcolor in Rouge
• Tinted Hydrating Mineral Veil
• Red-topped vanity box with red ribbon handle

The subsequent kits were Thoughtful (spring 2011), Enjoy (summer 2011), and More Than You Hoped For (fall 2011).
