BareMinerals’ Thoughtful kit

Second in the Perfect Gift kit series, released in March or April 2011. These colors were a little more interesting: a blue and a green eyeshadow, instead of a brown-purple and a straight brown.

BareMinerals’ Thoughtful kit

This kit contained:

  • Thoughtful — pale blue matte
  • Treasured — dusty eucalyptus-green shimmer
  • Smitten blush — semisheer candy pink sheen
  • Midnight Big & Bright eyeliner — navy blue
  • Flawless Definition Volumizing Mascara in black
  • Pretty Amazing lipcolor in Charisma
  • Tinted Hydrating Mineral Veil
  • Deep-pink-topped vanity box with yellow ribbon handle

I bought the colors off of Ebay vendors - just makes more sense when I didn't want the mascara, the lip color, the mineral veil, or the hatbox. I found a vendor selling the eyecolors at about 1/3 retail standalone price, and the blush at about 2/3 retail standalone price. The blues were blue-green, and initially I was not in love with the matte (Thoughtful). In the pot, it reminded me of a cooler, bluer version of Bare Escentuals' Faith, which is the least-pigmented color I've ever encountered from any vendor - including the less-loved indie vendors I've sampled.
