BareMinerals’ Willow Matte

This is supposed to be a matte. So what's it doing with a very visible pearl-ish finish in both wet and dry application? It's a pretty enough color, but I wish that it didn't pearl up so much - another good solid-performing matte of this shade would be nice to have in my collection.
