BBAC 2013, Day 17: Makeup Geek’s Lipsticks

Continuing my fine tradition of falling in love with things just as they're slated to be discontinued - though these are being temporarily removed from sale, while the entire line is reformulated. The lipsticks are the first formulation that Makeup Geek released, and they're well pigmented and very smooth and moisturizing, but Marlena is going to sell the current remaining stock, discontinue the lipsticks for a year or so, then reformulate and re-release.

I first tried the Makeup Geek lipsticks at IMATS 2013. I bought three shades at the show, and bought three more after I got home and wore my show purchases for a few weeks. They are extremely pigmented, apply very smoothly, the color stays true a long time…they're a good value. And temporarily they're an even better value, since they're all slightly discounted.

Here's hoping that the line is just as good, and reasonably priced, and hopefully has a few more shades…when it does come back!
