This palette was released alongside Earthy and Midnight. Unlike those other two, this only has two sizes: 9 colors, and 16 colors. While I kind of understand why they didn't release a 42-color Berries palette - too much purple overlap with Midnight if they used cooler berry shades, not enough berry-red colors to fill out a 42-color palette, possibly not enough demand for a 42-color red-and-pink palette - it still would have been nice. Then again, if I'm asking for things, I would have preferred all-matte versions of each of the largest Berries, Midnight, and Earthy palettes. (Either that, or I would have preferred a shimmer formula that wasn't a creme-to-powder deal. I do not love that formula.)

If you enjoy using cooler pinks and reds, and want to try Beauty Bay's house-brand eyeshadow palettes, this is a great intro-palette. This costs less than one of ColourPop's 9-pan palettes, and gives you more shades. The light colors are also more pigmented, so there's another plus.
