This year, I sent out initial invites in October 2012. One person declined, because they didn't know if they could post something every day. Another dropped out a few weeks later, because Real Life handed her new changes in her life (positive!!) that she wanted to prioritize. A third person had to drop at the last minute - again due to scheduling conflicts. So again this year, we're only three bloggers. We'll still be doing brief posts every day. We've got about four themed days, and the rest are authors' choice. I'm doing small giveaways every day (open to people who are already registered for the site - so you'd better register before I close it down for December!!) But it's done a bit smarter. The link lists are in my CMS, so each writer can post their links on their time, when they have them. The lists are scheduled as to when they'll go live. Unfortunately I have to manually go in and add the imagemap hotspot at the appropriate time; but maybe next year I'll find a way to automate that part of the process, too.

Starting tomorrow at 1pm Pacific, and happening again every day through December 25, you'll be able to see new posts from three beauty-blog authors. The individual sites are sprinkling giveaways throughout the month - not all on the same schedule, though, and some may be restricted by country. Stop by, say hello, look around! And don't forget as December trundles along toward winter holidays, the turn of the year, gatherings, crowded stores, heavier traffic, winter storms, frenzied and frazzled people who at various stages of the end of their rope…take time each day to relax, remember what's important to you, and enjoy your family, your friends, your community.
