Beauty from the Earth’s Isis

This is an unblended pigment color - meaning, that while base mix may have been added, it's essentially the same color as a raw mica that you might buy from TKB Trading. (Beauty from the Earth has marked all of their unblended pigments with this note, so that people who want to buy raw ingredients directly from a wholesaler like TKB can do so and buy the original, more complex colors from BFTE.) While I haven't swatched them side by side, I'm willing to bet that Isis is the same as TKB Trading's Crucible Red.

This is a deep metallic red. I don't see any blackening left behind when I remove this color, which (in my experience) tends to happen with about half of the metallic eyeshadows released by indie vendors.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.
