Please pardon the gaps...

The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When the content does get populated, the URL will stay the same.

Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadows and MAC Paint Pots

Both MAC Cosmetics and Benefit Cosmetics sell cream shadows. MAC has both “cream shadows” and “paint pots” - I love the paint pots. Interestingly enough, the paint pots are a better deal than the Benefit creaseless cream shadows…and they even come in some of the same colors.

Benefit sells you 4.5 grams of product for $18. MAC sells you 5 grams of product for $16.50 (even less if you get the pro discount.) Benefit cream shadow lasts about 2 hours without creasing on my lids, where MAC's paint pots last about 5 hours without creasing on my lids. And MAC has Delft blue - Benefit has nothing like that :D

For those of you looking for color equivalencies, here's a few Benefit-to-MAC matches:

Benefit's Samba-dy Loves Me, intro'ed in early 2009, is the same as MAC's Painterly paint pot.
Benefit's Sippin n Dippin, intro'ed in early 2009, is the same as MAC's Rubenesque paint pot.
Benefit's Flying To…, intro'ed in early 2009, is the same as MAC's Fresco Rose paint pot.

As I get other confirmed matches, I'll post them here.
