I’m not exactly first out of the gate, reviewing these. I’m not even “first out of the gate for people who don’t get early press samples.” These were out for a year and a half before I tried my first one. I got Cashew in the Champagne Discovery set, and liked the application and versatility. I use a lot of my blushes and face colors on my eyelids, but rarely use any lip products, because they’re all a) bullet/cream products or b) less blendable than I’d like, when used as anything other than a lipstick. These are created to be used on cheeks, lids, and lips.

These have the standard "brushed-matte" grey packaging, and the tubes close magnetically. I don't know how firmly the tubes would stay closed in, say, a purse or a backpack. I also don't know exactly how airtight they are. I kind of wish that the labels matched the color of the product inside. It would help with quick visual identification! They're bigger around than most lipstick bullet tubes, so they're fairly easy to grip.
Cashew was my first Multistick. I then picked up Biscotti, and the two "limited-edition" colors Mauvember and Cava. There are a few other colors that look interesting, but until I know how often I will use these, those can stay in the stores. These are a cream-to-powder formula, so I have concerns about how long they'll last before they begin to go off. It may be that they don't, or that they have an extremely long lifespan...but unlike my inert loose-powder cosmetics, these don't have an indefinite viable lifespan.
