Black Rose Minerals’ Mochi

A good softer shade, useful for blending or for non-smokey eye looks. (I think I'm almost overdosed on smokey eye looks, after the Oscars last night.) The color payoff is pretty good, this is just a softer brown color that doesn't deepen when applied wet. It's like cocoa powder with sugar sprinkled in. Coverage is very even, no thin patches or bunching up. It's a good shade that's nearly pure neutral, but leans just barely cool. This might be good for faint accent-contouring when using mostly pastel shades.

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.
