Cherry Culture’s Jumbo Shadow Liner in Temptation

Almost every time I swatch one of the pencils from this collection, I get so…ANGRY. The colors are lovely, some are shades not really found in other lines at all. Coverage is very very good. But the color does not set! I've waited 30 minutes for arm-swatches to set, and…nope. Not completely cured all the way through, transfer onto my fingertip or a tissue pretty easily, not much leave-behind. It's enough to make me scream. The pencils didn't cost much, but…they're utterly useless for anything but, possibly, face-drawing for Halloween or cosplay. (And even then, one brush against anything, and it's smear-and-transfer city.)

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeliner tube or pencil barrel; top right, the eyeliner applied over bare skin, to better show the shade and properties; and below, the eyeliner applied on the eyelid at the lash line.

This color is not one of the amazing-wow-cool shades. Lots of lines have peach color. Some of them are even frost finish. This was just another interesting-looking neutral that I picked up, hoping for another pinked-peach pencil. It's got pink tones in it, making the color work well on a wider variety of skintones. It covers excellently, no bald spots or skipping. There are so many things that could have gone well with this line and with this pencil, and…they didn't.

Monumental disappointment.
