NOTE 03/25/2013: I will no longer be purchasing or reviewing any new China Glaze products, aside from the two that I have in the publishing queue. All previously-published posts will remain up. Info & links of interest
Lovely softer yellow-gold metallic…that, sadly, is a bit on the fragile side and has less-than-good spreadability. The brushstrokes aren't as visible with this polish as they are when I use some of the other polishes from the Romantique collection (like Awaken), but they're still visible. China Glaze effectively redid this color in two later collections, Khrome (2030) and ‘Tis the Season (Midnight Kiss) - both times with a much better formula. It's not easy to find 2030, and Midnight Kiss is getting less easy to locate even in Ebay; but hopefully China Glaze will take note of the demand and add a regular gold and silver metallic to their core collection.
Both 2030 and Midnight Kiss have much better spreadability and durability than Passion does. (But now, I've got a gold metallic for nail art and two for regular manicures! See, there's an upside to everything.)
