CND’s Vinylux Dandelion (180)

When the product photos came out, I thought that I might like this color a bit more than I thought I would. It looked like a very nice, soft orange-gold that would work well with my coloring. I do like the frost finish, and the color looks decent on me…but it’s just not quite the best shade for me. It leans a tiny bit more toward pale yellow-gold, than the orange-peach suggested by the product photos. The formula is excellent, the shade is less of a personal match.

Some frost-finish nail polishes can look a bit streaky, showing the brushstrokes. I’ve done three manicures with this color, and that has not been my experience. It always applies smoothly and spreads evenly, and the finish is more subtle than most nail-polish frosts that I’ve used. It’s almost like a more granular pearl.
