CND’s Vinylux Hypnotic Dreams (252)

This is a multichrome…kind of. The colorshifts are about on par with any of the pink-and-gold “multichrome” polishes that have been released in the past few years. This one adds a green-brown shade into the shift, and it’s a little more pronounced, but it still isn’t as dramatic a colorchange as the bottle art indicates that it might be. It also required 3 coats to see as much of the shift as I did - not the more standard 2 coats that most Vinylux colors require.

If you truly love foils or like this shade of medium-cool rose pink, go ahead and grab this color. It has the normal Vinylux ease of application and durability. But if you’re expecting a strong shift…maybe go grab an actual multichrome polish.
