All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.

Six topper or effects polishes. Most require at least three coats for full opacity, many do better with four, though one - That’s The Spirit - is both a deeper shade and gives me full coverage with just two coats.

I initially had no interest in these because I don’t care for effects polishes. I prefer nail polishes that either can be used in stamping or freehand nail art, or are standalone manicure shades. That’s The Spirit caught my eye, but it wasn’t until I’d found reviews online comfirming that it was a two-coater, that I was willing to try it out. I eventually picked up Yes Of Quartz and All Charged Up because they were fairly solid performers, even though I need three coats for both of them.
