A black holographic! How fantastic is that??? Okay, actually it’s more of a very dark charcoal, or a soft black. Either way, it’s got the gorgeous linear holographic effects and it gives full coverage in just two coats. It’s very similar to Speciallita’s Zeus, but it needs fewer coats to get the same effect.

The holographic effect on this color seemed a little less dense than in Blue Heaven, Halo-graphic, and the other colors in this collection. I’m not sure why that is - maybe I received a bottle from a less-than-optimal batch - but I’ve seen other photos of this nail polish where the holo effect is much smoother, the particles more closely packed.

I like how this looks by itself; but I also think that it could look great used in nail art. It’s thick enough that it should be usable, and if I stick with designs that don’t contain a lot of fine detail I’ll still get to see the holographic effects.
