Color Club’s Kaleidescope collection

Color Club’s summer 2013 collection, five creme finishes and one pearl-iridescent “effects” coat. I was first attracted to In Theory and Evolution, but soon picked up all of the other colors with the exception of the one jeweltone in the collection: Bright Night. This one kind of sticks out, being such a deep color while surrounded by brights and pastels. I originally had hopes that Pearl-Spective would either have a tiny bit of coral or peach base color, or that it would be more of a flakie than an iridescent-shimmer top coat; but it’s a nice way to subtly change up a creme-finish manicure.

The formula on most of these is fairly good: two coats and unless I've gone too quickly and applied the second layer before the first one cured, I've got a solid manicure that will last me a week.

This collection contained:

  • Abyss — teal-blue creme
  • Bright Night — bright medium-deep blue creme
  • Endless — pastel medium pink creme
  • Evolution — medium sky-blue creme
  • In Theory — neon coral creme
  • Pearl-spective — sheer pearl with pink, copper, and gold iridescent shimmer
