All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.
Color Club’s Matte-ified Metallics collection

I initially wasn’t too interested in the polishes in this collection…until I saw Matte-erial Girl swatched. It was the old gold-to-pink colorchange polish that’s been available from just about every line with a matte finish. Oddly, this seemed to make the pink shift more visible! I ended up really liking the gold and olive polishes, and Matte About You (the matte medium-deep teal). They do have a regrettable tendency to show brushstrokes, but adding a top coat conceals that.
