(I initially started to describe this creme-finish polish as “pale cream” in color…then decided that there was only so much folderol I was willing to commit to a database.) This is a great color - not quite white, but still very close to that. It’s a good formula with very nice color payoff and excellent spreadability, so it might work well in freehand nail art or stamping. It isn’t a bright white or a softened white, it’s not quite a “winter white”, but it’s barely tan at all.
A moment for a gripe: the Meet Your Match collection has a goodly variety of the white-browns and paler tans, but not so much variety on the deeper end of the spectrum. I know it’s hard to create a truly diverse nude collection when you only have 18 shades to work with…but maybe that’s an indicator that it’s time to bite the bullet, expand to 24 shades, and balance the ratios!(I would have loved to see some more variety in the medium and deep brown polishes in this collection.)
