I love this polish! When I originally saw the collection promo pics, I was not super-impressed. But then I started seeing swatches. It looked attractive, subtle, elegant, refined, with just a bit of an edge. The color applied is a little bit softer than it appears in the bottle - a soft buff-gold instead of a beige-bronze - but it has faint pink duotone highlights that you see when the light hits the nail at just the right angle. I love wearing this color on days (weeks, really) when I want something restful and elegant, but not too far into “neutral” territory.
This polish is both like and unlike Maybelline's Pink Cosmo, or China Glaze's Swanky Silk. For one, the base color is closer to neutral, giving the overall polish a more refined appearance. Second, this polish was not pushed as a duochrome - so the fact that it is a very minimal duochrome is a nice bonus, rather than eliciting a sigh and a disappointed, “...is that all there is?” But third is that this polish gave me full coverage in two coats.
Two.
Not three. Certainly not four. Two.
I love how one doesn't have to either wear a dark polish underneath, or apply four coats, to get the full effect of this one.
