Color Club’s Take Wing collection

I’m a jeweltone-polish fiend. Brights…well bright jeweltones, and I’m amazingly happy. When I saw this collection, I immediately bought three. And then two more. Because…pretty!!

These polishes are all glass-fleck finishes, and they’re about a 3.5 on the “sheer-to-opaque” scale. Three coats and you might still see some VNL. Four coats, and you won’t see a thing. (Well…possibly with the yellow.)

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

Color Club’s Take Wing collection

This collection contained:

  • Daisy Does It — semisheer warm gold-yellow glass-fleck shimmer
  • Fly With Me — semisheer new-leaf green glass-fleck shimmer
  • Metamorphosis — semisheer teal-green glass-fleck shimmer
  • Sky High — semisheer sapphire-blue glass-fleck shimmer
  • Sparkle and Soar — semisheer medium tangerine glass-fleck shimmer
  • Wing Fling — semisheer magenta-pink glass-fleck shimmer

The finish on these colors reminds me a bit of Lighthouse, from China Glaze's Anchors Away collection. Actually…Daisy Does It might be a near-duplicate for Lighthouse. On some of the colors, there seems to be a very faint duochrome effect visible in the bottle, but that pretty much disappears when the polish is on the nail.
