I recently went a teeny tiny bit nutso. I got a chunk of money owed to me, and one of the beneficiaries of my temporary largesse was ColourPop. I did something I hadn’t really done before: I bought some of their eyeshadow palettes. I love deeper reds, and so the Wine palette appealed to me; and the deeper and metallic browns in Wild Child looked good. I was able to get the bundle during a 25% sale - which is nice, since there’s no discount for purchasing the set versus purchasing them together.
The colors in both palettes are a little on the drier side of what I expect from a palette. I don’t know if that’s standard for ColourPop, or if these are older palettes. For all of that, they do apply decently and don’t immediately begin to fade or flake away. As normal for me, I apply all eyeshadows over a shadow primer. The pressed-glitter looking shade, dead center in the Wlid Child palette, is attractive…but I think that I’ll reserve that one for use as a highlighter, and not apply it any closer to my eye than my browbone. (That’s just me being a bit cautious with any glitter-like stuff near my eyes.)
As of today, November 15 2021, the pair of palettes is not available as a set, but the individual palettes are available for purchase.
