Deep forest-green with a faint shimmer finish. No blackening or sooty residue on this one, just lush deep color that applies well and stays put.

What are the odds that, in the space of one week, I find two shades from one vendor that are near-matches for shades from another vendor? I don't think this was at all intentional on either vendors' part…but they're both colors that I absolutely adore, so that's not all that bad. (It also kind of explains why I seized on both instances of the color: my soul cried out, “JEWELTONES!!!” and my finger clicked “BUY”.) Nocturne has a sparser shimmer than Deranged, just as Souljourner's shimmer is less than Sardonic's.
