I knew some of these colors were on the chopping block - Uli, Nevaeh, Lyric, Brizia - all were available for purchase, but you weren't able to buy color spoons for them. A Zoya representative confirmed on their Facebook wall, at the time (late 2011, I think) that this meant that the color was going to be discontinued as soon as current supplies were sold out. No more batches were going to be made of that color, so rather than use up polish making spoons, Zoya just let those interested, buy entire bottles. There was no announcement, but at some point I went through the entire Zoya site and made a list of which polishes did not have the spoon-purchase option available.
Then in 2012, another round of colors was slated for discontinuation. Some aren't too surprising, but…Julie? Wow, that was just added to the regular line! (It's true. Check the Lovely collection, originally released less than a year ago - October 2012, for Spring 2013. The other five colors are available for purchase. Julie isn't.) I didn't love the color's performance, and apparently the folks at Zoya decided that rather than try to improve the formula, they'd just discontinue the shade. (It must not have sold very well. And they do have other soft purples in the line up. But…well.)
Looking over the list, I don't know that too many of these colors came from the same collection - but three of the colors from the Serendipity collection were in the "to be discontinued" list I made over a year ago; and when I checked today I found that all six of the colors have now been discontinued. A partial list of 2012/2013 discontinued Zoya colors is:
