elf’s Sheer Slick Lipstick collection

elf came out with a collection of these semi-sheer lip colors. Initially I was kind of hesitant to give it a try, but I liked the initial look of some of the shades. I was also seeing reviews saying that these were closer to “semi-opaque” than “semi-sheer” - that is, they have more color payoff than most of the Buxom Lip Polishes, and a bit more than “lip tints”. I don’t know that I’ll continue to buy these once I’ve finished the ones I have, though - the color doesn’t always apply evenly, and if I’m going to have semi-opaque coverage I want the color to not clump up as much as these do.
