essence’s Volume Booster Lash Primer

This performs very similarly to Milani’s The Violet One. When I open the tube, there’s no discernable scent or smell; and the primer itself is a clear white - not totally a bright white, but not yellowed or dulled. The primer gives me decent coverage - though not quite as good as Milani’s - and it doesn’t clump up my lashes very much. The applicator is a fairly typical bottle-brush spoolie, so there’s no learning curve whatsoever.

I do wish that it gave a little more coverage. It doesn’t seem to want to stick on my lashes when I try moving the spoolie back and forth at the base of my lashes. It also didn’t seem to help my colored mascara adhere, which is the primary reason for me trying lash primers. I think this is going into the “doesn’t work for me” bin

The brush applicator has a very slight curve in the end. The applicator-wand for CoverGirl's Super Sizer mascara. The bristles are shorter close to the wand, and gradually get longer up towards the tip.
