This kit is a good value if you like these colors - especially as these colors are not available individually, and are all in mini (10-gram) jars. The colors are nice, but the EDM site photograph can be a bit misleading (and their descriptions aren’t a whole lot of help.) Their photo looks like one of the colors is a reddish - but that’s actually Homby Hills, which is most definitely a brown. This is a warmer palette, but still wearable by cool-toned folks. The baby eye buki brush is…well, it’s odd. It’s a teeny tiny thing, about the size of my thumb (a little shorter, actually.) How does one use this brush for any substantial application without getting severe hand cramps? The pressed blush may be good, but I don’t like pressed blushes so I’m giving those away to someone who doesn’t have any skin sensitivities. Vik’s Radiant Creation looks like it may be a little dark for my regular use…I’ll have to experiment a bit. (And yes, on the vendor’s site this kit is called the “Josh Flagg Million Dollar Makeup Kit”. I feel like the owner is trying to use the popularity of the person’s name to get more hits / more attention / possibly more purchases for her product, using the name of a someone whose only connection to makeup is that they wear it for their reality TV show…and I doubt that they wear EDM, since mineral makeup and television filming are not best buds. And so, in my own sweet tyrannical way, I am protesting by shortening the name.)
