Everyday Minerals’ Scented Candles

I love this color! I'm not sure why I love it, precisely. It's very similar to BE's Antique Pearl, a color I like very much; but Scented Candles is both less pigmented and a little more yellow than Antique Pearl…and those are not two things that, individually, would add up to “reasons to love it”. It looks like it's got a very faint greenish cast to the pearl finish.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.

This was one of the eyecolors still available in mini size when I made my first spring-2010 order from EDM, so I tried it out. I liked it so much that I bought two more mini jars…just to make sure I wouldn't run out for quite a while. Good thing I did; because by late summer 2010 the color was no longer available on the site.
