Evil Shades’ Auld Lang Syne collection

I originally tried to buy from this collection just before Christmas 2010, but kept getting carts that would empty themselves and site errors. It may be related to my choice of browser - people who don’t use either IE or Firefox often run into little “extras” because site owners may use coding that works for those browsers, but not in all browsers. Paypal (which is what Evil Shades uses as their checkout system) seems to go through periods where my browser will work, and periods where it will randomly time out and drop things. Gmail does much the same thing. At any rate, after four attempts I stopped trying to buy these shades and moved on. I finally came back and bought them in mid-February, and got them just before price increases were due to hit. I was just glad those colors were still available, as this collection was marked “limited edition” and was definitely New-Year’s-themed.

This collection contained:

  • Aureate — yellow-gold shimmer
  • Cranberry Champagne — wine-red shimmer
  • Filigree — bronze shimmer
  • Lucia — vibrant red shimmer
  • Polestar — indigo shimmer
  • Wishing Tree — forest green shimmer

The web site had no quantities on it - the options were just "sample" and "full size", with the information that a full size shadow was packaged in a 5 gram jar.
