Looks like an orange-red in the pot, but goes on metallic-gold with an orange-red base. The gold can be buffed away…but it really looks interesting, so generally I don't. I like using this as a liner over a dark brown cream or gel liner, because it accentuates the orange base and deepens its color but holds onto the gold that much better.
