One of the premium colors from Femme Fatale’s third installment in the You Choose The Scare series. It has a higher price-point than many other colors in this collection because of the cost of ingredients. It’s similar to some other indie eyeshadows I have, but it’s not an exact dupe. It’s like MPZ’s Infirmity with a warmer green shimmer, and it’s like Meow Cosmetics’ Hopeless but an overall less olive-toned shade.
This blue base is very blue, so you’ll definitely want to apply a primer or at least a cream base underneath it to avoid staining your skin. The vendor states that this color will show its duochrome effects most strongly over a sticky primer or glitter glue. I do see a slight difference when patting this on over NYX’s Glitter Glue versus their Pigment Primer, so if you want this color but just a tiny bit less intense, make sure to use a regular primer rather than a glitter glue. This color also doesn’t blend as easily as other colors - or, more to the point, the green-gold shimmer effect can get lost fairly easily if you’re trying to sheer it out. Best to blend other colors into this one, rather than blending this color into them.
