These started out as semisheer-backed multichrome colors. The first three released - Breathtaking, Dreamwoven Luxuries, Elegant Reverie - came out in December 2014. Princess for a Day followed about a year later. A year after that came several more similar Exquisites. I was not a gigantic fan of the semisheer, more subtle, highlighter-ish colors, so didn't pay much attention.
And then came the multichromes.
Initially I didn't buy these newer multichromatic shades from Fyrinnae because they came out a few months after another indie vendor released their multichrome eyeshadows, and at the time Fyrinnae's were $2 more than the other company's. Then the other company revamped their line and increased their price dramatically. Suddenly, Fyrinnae's multichrome Exquisites looked like something I should at least sample.
The multichromatic Exquisites are black- or otherwise dark-color-backed, and they are true multichromes. They come in the standard Fyrinnae jars, which give 2.3 to 3 grams of product per jar. And, get this - these Exquisites apply and look much, much better dry over primer. I can't say that for other multichrome eyeshadows that I've tried!
One color from this collection has been discontinued, and it's my favorite of the semisheers, so I'm glad that I got my jars all those years ago when I first bought from this line. There are two price points for this collection: one for the shades lacking a base color, and one for the more riotous multichromes.
