Fyrinnae’s Freya

Highly pigmented, with heavy color payoff, no matter how you apply it. I think that if you're looking for a softer smoky-eye purple, this one might be a bit too much…but if you want a deeper, vampier purple or want a good liner shade, you're all set.

I didn't see a lot of sooty undertones or leave-behind when swatching this initially, so there's another plus, especially for folks who want to steer clear of “blackened” shadows for one reason or another. This one's just heavily pigmented. Bare Escentuals' Brocade is similar, but is actually a bit less pigmented than Freya.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.
