Fyrinnae’s Little Ghost Nebula

I love colors that have a deep blue or purple backing because…well, because I love deep blue and deep purple. And when colors have a blue or purple backing, you get strong hints of that color without actually needing to see it. This lets me wear the shadow without needing to worry whether or not the blue or purple (or green - I think I have one eyeshadow that has an evergreen base shade) is taking over the look.

Dry application gives me a more visible gold shimmer, where wet application shows the deeper brown base shade with a sparser but no less visible gold shimmer. This isn’t a “semi-loose” formula so I apply it with my standard brushes and techniques. I generally use a regular eye primer, but on Fyrinnae’s site they note that using a sticky primer (like a glitter glue, or Pixie Epoxy) will deepen the brown and make the green-gold shimmer more intense. They also note that this color is, specifically, NOT lip-safe.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches
