This blue applied lighter than I expected. It's also a bit brighter than you might think, looking at it in the pot. The coverage is a little thinner than I personally love, but the upside to that is that you can layer it when you want more solid coverage, or you can just apply it once if you want the color, but don't want it to overwhelm the rest of your eyeshadow.
