Fyrinnae’s Pleasant Valley Sundae

When I first saw the collection images, I thought that I'd be least impressed with this lip color. It's sheer, just as advertised; but it also has a milky creme finish that's fairly strong and it turns out that I like how that looks, more than I like the semisheer bubblegum pink!

(And…yes, the name is a Monkees tribute. Alternate spelling and everything.)

As with all of Fyrinnae's lip lustres, you'll want to warm this up before applying so that it goes on smoother. I keep the tube in my pocket while I'm brushing my teeth and putting on the rest of my makeup, and that seems to do the trick. These are also colors, not necessarily stains; so reapplication is going to be needed once or twice during your day (especially after eating.)

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the lip color in the tube; top right, the color applied over bare skin, to better show the shade; and below, the color applied to the lips.
