This is…well, the wording’s going to sound odd, but here goes: it’s a rich blackened red. Not necessarily a ruby red, but a deep velvety red. The blackening is pretty apparent whether it’s applied wet or dry; and like many Fyrinnae shades, this color does not seem to look good foiled. It loses all its shimmer and most of the red, becoming a sooty black with a cabernet wash.
Fyrinnae’s Monarch Butterfly is also a blackened red shimmer, but its red is a warmer, slightly brighter shade.
