Fyrinnae’s Space Kitty

Fyrinnae has this color prominently described as a sheer wash of color, and says (and shows a photo of) how one can intensify this color by applying it over a bright or white cream base. The quality is good, the value is good, and they're completely right: apply this over a neutral or white cream base, and you can really jack up the color intensity. Or, if you prefer, you can use this as a blending or softening shade with other brighter shadows.

I marked this color as would not purchase again only because I'm personally less fond of sheer shades; and when I buy from Fyrinnae, I prefer to buy the more vivid, strong-payoff shades that they seem to have in abundance. (Some other indies have a mix of softer and bolder shades; it seems like many only have the Bare Escentuals loose-powder intensity shades. Fyrinnae has previously had mostly the bold, strong, vivid colors - so adding shades like Space Kitty to their lineup diversifies them and gives their fanatically loyal home flee- er, customer base, more diversified toy-er, tools.)
