The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When the content does get populated, the URL will stay the same.
I've been in such a rut lately. It's not makeup, per se. It's the fact that we've had overcast, rain, and temperatures in the 50s pretty much since October (that's seven months, for those keeping track.) I'm in a rut over everything. I've been lighting candles in an effort to brighten things up a bit (and sneak in some aromatherapy) to try and reverse this enervation. With a very few notable exceptions, I've been about as productive as a salted garden slug this past month.
Starting tomorrow I can post folks' interviews over at Beauty Blogs Backstage. This round had a few false starts - I think I need to be more active about sending out “reminders”, possibly via Twitter - but overall it appears to have gone well. Anyone interested in interviewing another beauty blogger, and being interviewed in turn? Head on over and sign up. You'll start off next month, July 2010, and be paired with a different beauty blogger every month after that. (Unfortunately, there were an odd number of participants this round…so I didn't get to interview or be interviewed. Maybe next month..?)
Last week I heard about an inexpensive little kit from BE, called Inside Scoop. It's $25, a Sephora exclusive, and includes a new high-shine eyecolor, Flawless Definition Volumizing mascara, a buxom liner, and a mini tube of eye primer. I tried to pick one up over the weekend, but the Sephora I went to was just too busy to send an associate digging through the back. Good thing, too, because today someone posted pictures of the eyeshadow and of the mascara applicator from the Inside Scoop kit over on Bare Escentuals Addicts. I don't like the look of the mascara applicator, and the eye color doesn't make me want to rush out and get it - it looks a bit similar to stuff I've already got. So gee, I guess I really don't need that kit after all!!
I've assembled my final order for the Zoya nail polish exchange. I'm getting several of the darker colors (Casey, Pinta, Nina, Raven) as well as a few neutrals and some polishes for my mom. When she was here visiting in May, she wore Raine and really liked it. Unfortunately, it is no longer listed on Zoya's web site at all! I got her Amminah and Nikki instead.
