There have been several eyeshadows from various vendors that include larger, sparsely scattered glitter bits (usually hexagonal rounds.) They don’t always apply to well, so my overall impression of such eyeshadows has been a bit…ambivalent. This color does have the sparsely scattered hexagons, but the underlying color is attractive and applies evenly, AND for whatever reason or series of reasons, the glitter-gons don’t all clump up (which has been my unhappy experience with many companies that add these to their eyeshadows.) They actually apply fairly evenly.
The foiled swatch is an extreme close-up, showing the detail of the hexagons. The dry-over-primer photo gives a better idea of the overall shadow color, and how sparse the hexagons were, and how small they were. They were much more of a slight accent, and the overall eyeshadow isn’t a “glitter-bomb.”
