LA Colors’ Surreal

This was the first polish from the Hypno Holographic collection that caught my eye. I love the base shade combined with the gold shimmer - it’s such a great combination, and the blue base shade is one that I’d buy on its own (if I ever saw it available.) I haven’t regularly used LA Colors’ nail polish, so I had no idea how well they’d apply or how durable they would be.

I did end up needing four coats of this polish to get full opacity. I applied it over a bare nail, but I’d imagine you could get some nice effects using this as an effects top coat. The gold shimmer would be far more subtle and you might almost lose the base shade if you applied over a dark polish.
