LaurEss’ Salt and Sand

Not quite a highlighter shade - but almost - I like using this best paired with a deep jeweltone as the outer-crease accent shade. I get a bit of pearl-shimmer finish across my lids, and the rich purple or blue accent shade. (I have to be careful about using this with greens, though. I just don't like the combination as well. I think it's the coral undertones in this shade. It works with blues, and it works with some purples (slightly smoked or indigo-purples rather than amethyst-violets) but it just doesn't look that great with greens.

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.
