Lost in Makeupland’s Libertine

Not one of my favorite shadows from Lost in Makeupland. In the pot, this color looks like it will be a deep navy shimmer; but when it's applied, the shadow loses a good portion of its saturation - whether I apply it wet, or dry. What's left behind is a soft blackening, a hint of navy, and a fine shimmer. I can get more saturated color if I layer it, or use a sticky base like Pixie Epoxy…but I'm not a ginormous fan of Pixie Epoxy. I'm also not a ginormous fan of eyeshadows that essentially demand that I apply them a certain way to get good solid color payoff.
