Lost in Makeupland’s Nostalgia: When I Was Young collection

This is actually the first of two “Nostalgia” collections - though when the second one will be released is still up in the air. It’s kind of neat to see this collection come out, though - almost a year after the launch of Lost in Makeupland.

I’ve bought most of the colors from this collection, and will be profiling many of them next weekend (during LiM/CM Theme Weekend). I passed on some of them, though - mostly because I gravitated toward the bright colors. According to a tweet from owner Belen, Trunks may be taken out of stock until January, along with three other LiM shades. No word on why…but it may happen. (So I’m selfishly glad that was one of the first shades I got in fullsize!)

This collection contained:

  • Aladdin — medium deep warm brown with gold shimmer
  • Beverly Hills — sheer gilded peach shimmer
  • Dawson — medium-soft aqua with purple shimmer
  • Jerrica — cool medium pink with multicolored shimmer
  • Lamu — metallic gilded aqua-teal shimmer
  • Rogue — golden green with red shimmer
  • Skellington — soft cool medium-light grey matte
  • Sweet Valley — sheer pinked-cream shimmer
  • Trunks — cool aubergine-red shimmer
  • X-Mas Special — antiqued metallic red shimmer
  • Xian Pu — dark periwinkle-indigo shimmer
  • Yuu — sungold yellow with red sparkle
