Love Hues’ Pretty Little Secrets

According to the shop photos, this brown was supposed to have faint purple (not lavender, more like a soft violet) highlights at certain angles. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing them. This color is a solid performer, it applies just like it looks in the pot, the color payoff is good, it stays in place…but it doesn't appear to be what was advertised. It's possible I'm just not seeing the colorshift, and that it's there but oh so very faint (kind of like BareMinerals' Grey/Lilac Colorshift, where the colorshift is as much a product of my imagination and of surrounding colors as anything else.)

This is a nice enough eyeshadow, but if I had the chance again, I would not choose this color. I already have many others that are similar.
