This color…doesn't really change with light angles. It seems to change depending on application technique. Dry-over-primer gets me the softer taupe-gold-brown, while wet application gives me a muted dusty slate-purple shimmer. It works well as an accent shade, as a good complement to a deeper or more vibrant purple. I think that it might even work well as a “minimal makeup” eyeshadow. Both colors are softer, can be worn over the whole lid without looking too confrontational. (Can a color be confrontational? Work with me here; you know what I'm trying to say. I just can't find the word right at this second.)
